Learning Intention:

To understand the life of Maori prior to Europeans arriving and it's connection to today's society.

What was your research? 

I researched the Maori calendar and the Maori months.

Two things you found interesting? 

Two things that I found interesting is that the new year is in June or July and that each tribe had different traditions around Matariki and Maramataka.

Two things you thought you did well?

I think that the information I found was good and I like the way that I set out my work on my presentation.

Something you want to do differently next time? 

Next time I was to take my time and make my work neater.
