I think this work has gone well because my group finished our presentation on time and we had a good result.

What was the best section of your work?
I thought learning about how animals survive in the cold was the most interesting part because I learnt the most stuff.

Where did you go wrong in completing your assessment?
In the beginning, we couldn't find the right information for the questions but we ended up changing them and it turned out good.

How might you improve your outcome in the future?
Add some more information, bright colours and photos.

What did you find interesting about the topic you completed your presentation on?
I thought the most interesting part was learning about how the animals survived.

What did you struggle with during your presentation?
Not everyone showing up.

Producer vs Consumer

What are a producer's responsibilities? 
To make sure that they are selling their products correctly.
Plan out what they are going to be doing before they make the product.
Have a warrent on their products.

What are a consumer's rights? 
To be able to return things if they are broken.

Maori Research

Learning Intention:

To understand the life of Maori prior to Europeans arriving and it's connection to today's society.

What was your research? 

I researched the Maori calendar and the Maori months.

Two things you found interesting? 

Two things that I found interesting is that the new year is in June or July and that each tribe had different traditions around Matariki and Maramataka.

Two things you thought you did well?

I think that the information I found was good and I like the way that I set out my work on my presentation.

Something you want to do differently next time? 

Next time I was to take my time and make my work neater.

My Dictator

I think that the characteristics a dictator mostly have are stuck up, greedy, rude, and powerful. Adolf Hitler was one of the meanest dictators ever. He was that mean he made concentration camps to kill all the Jews. I think being a dictator is bad, very stressful and I wouldn't want to be one.

New Zealand Government

New Zealand is a democratic country, which means Members Of Parliament are chosen in free and fair elections. New Zealanders over the age of 18 have a part in voting, voting is not compulsory. Every 3 years and two months, New Zealand holds elections for voting. We use MNP to vote in New Zealand for the Members Of Parliament. This is what a democratic country is like.

The UK Influence on New Zealand

In our group, I'm working on fashion and clothing.

I have learnt that the UK brought most to every item of clothing to New Zealand.
