The tallest person in the world is Robert Wadlow who was 8'11 (2.72m). Robert is an American who was born in 1918 died in 1940 at the age of 22 by an infection. By the time he was 8, he was already taller than his father. He had to start wearing leg braces to make sure he could walk because he had little feeling in his legs. His shoe size was a 37AA.
